Boot Camps

Boot Camps are intensive courses designed to get students comprehensively prepared and focused for the SAT and PSAT.

Boot Camps are offered in the summer as a weeklong intensive course. During the school year, Boot Camps are offered on Saturdays. All Boot Camp teaching is performed by Tutor Ted.

Most Boot Camp courses are held at Writers Bootcamp at Bergamot Station in Santa Monica. The course fee is $1175 for the summer session and $975 for the schoolyear sessions, which includes all course materials and, of course, snacks.

Homework Help

This is for the student who can benefit from ongoing assistance with everyday homework. The Homework Helper is instrumental in reinforcing a positive attitude towards homework; he or she will encourage your son or daughter to create structure and stay on top of their studies to ensure future successes.

The tutor selected will, over time develop a strong rapport and working relationship with your son or daughter. We highly recommend that the student meet with their homework helper twice a week. We understand the importance of a good fit between student and tutor, which is why we set up a free consultation between the parents, student and the tutor to make sure all parties are satisfied.
